Quality, Compassionate Hospice Care
Harlow's Help at Home provides all levels of hospice care in order to give patients facing a life-limiting illness the comfort, dignity and quality of life they deserve. At Harlow's Help at Home, we take the time to understand the unique needs of our patients and their loved ones to ensure the hospice patient's satisfaction and comfort. We also work closely with any involved hospice RN and/or social worker to develop a plan of care that best meets the needs of the patient.
Our staff understands hospice patient and family needs and are equipped to provide compassionate and professional assistance in numerous ways:
- Hospice RN assistance
- Reminders for Medication
- Shopping, transportation and errands
- Food preparation
- Appointment arrangements
- Provide a stable bathing environment
- Regular light housekeeping
- Laundry services
Personal Care Attendants can provide the hospice services listed above plus assistance with daily living activities, such as:
- Bathing and personal care
- Dressing
- Grooming, oral hygiene, denture care, and shaving
- Eating
- Back massages and foot soaks
- Incontinent care
Your Needs, Our Employees
Not all in home hospice care organizations are created equal. When selecting a hospice provider, make sure to understand who handles insurance and taxes for the caregivers. At Harlow's Help at Home our caregivers are our employees, which means we handle all aspects of caregiver employee payroll including liability and worker's comp insurance as well as federal and state taxes.
We can provide a wide range of hospice services specific to your needs: from 1 hour to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What to Expect
We address your questions at an initial meeting at your home or our office. This session is designed to allow you and your family to explore our services and the costs involved. We will be happy to discuss additional available resources that may be of help as well. After the consultation, our case manager will visit with the loved one in order to provide a plan of care that includes the requested services.
